A California native and UCLA graduate, Kira successfully worked as a senior marketer with big-brand food and beverage companies for over a decade before diving headfirst into real estate. But Kira has never been a stranger to the industry. Her parents were investors and remodelers, and her mother was an agent. Having moved many times as a child, Kira also knew how to easily adapt to new homes and environments — an empathetic trait that added to her already understanding nature. Real estate offered the life she craved while spotlighting her already cultivated talents like managing a team, creating a cohesive marketing story, negotiating fiercely, and putting clients first. Making the leap of faith just made sense.
Kira kickstarted her career at a large brokerage before launching Tam Realty with her partner and another married power couple in 2006. She had the vision to transform people’s lives for the better, along with a strong skill set and relentless work ethic to reach it. While Kira can easily win deals with her tough-negotiator mentality, she spends the time getting to know her clients on a deeper level to accurately serve results that will build a fitting future and lasting relationships.
Kira’s greatest joy is her family (ask her anything you want to know about raising kids in Marin), but she still has plenty of love left over to give to her community. With an office in downtown San Anselmo for over 15 years, she has always been an avid supporter of the small business community. Her efforts include San Anselmo Strong, which she founded to shelter small businesses from the effects of CoViD-19, and Live on the Avenue, a summer entertainment series that she sponsors. Kira is also passionate about Marin’s youth: She serves on the board of Marin Healthy Youth Partnerships and was previously on the management team at Children for Change. As an outdoor enthusiast, she never tires of exploring Marin County’s scenic backyard, and she enjoys yoga, hiking, and adventure travel.
